EcoBuild Exhibition, Earls Court
On Wenesday 4th March 2009, Jo, Richard, Chante and myself attended the EcoBuild exhibition in London. We felt that it was too goo of an opportunity to let pass and therefore decided to drive there and back within the day due to our other commitments and schedules in Teesside.
We set off from Middlesbrough at 6:00am to arrive in Epping for 10:30 from here we got the tube to Earls Court and arived at the exhibition for 11:30. It was surprising to see how large the exhibition was and how many companies have duplicated the same concept.
We decided the most appropiate action to take in order to cover the whole exhibition was to split into two teams of two; Myself and Richard sterted at one end of the exhibition whilst Chantel and Jo began at the opposite. We all found that the whole layout was extreamly difficult to navigate and the ground space intense to cover; however as a team we manged to collate the relevant information for our project works.
After a day of recovery, We came together to collate all of our findings and catalogue each section of research to enable ease of access to relevent areas, This took a whole day of filing and organizing; During this process we felt it best to base ourselves in the Cook building from now on. After recovering an old filing cabinet we now have a comfortable office like space in which we can work together.
